Medela Virus Filter with Overflow Protection (10/Case)

• The Medela Virus Filter with Overflow Protection (10 per Case) is used to protect the suction pump from overflow and to prevent viruses from entering the pump and environment. It is recommended for second stage overflow protection. It is designed for use with disposable liners and reusable jars, alongside the Basic Aspirator, Dominant Flex Aspirator, and Vario 18 Suction Pump.

  This filter should be changed out if there is an overflow (the doctor isn't watching the canister and fluid backs up and gets into the filter), or if severe discoloration or loss of suction occurs, but otherwise doesn't need to be changed until the procedure is finished.
